Randfontein’s existence dates back to the 1550s when AmaNdebele lived as one nation at Emhlangeni (today’s Randfontein area) under King Mhlanga approximately between 1550-1580. The name of EMhlangeni is today being translated to the Sotho language, Mohlakeng.
In line with the requirements of the constitution of the Republic of South Africa, the Randfontein Local Municipality provides the following services:

• Provision of water for household use

After having collided with a copy of this week’s Randfontein Herald attacking the person of our new Mayor by an unknown resident/reader. The Mayoral office and the council in general took a right decision by not legitimasing the accusations through a response. The accusations lacks an ittellectual impulse and political morality its annonymous writer is pre-occupied with destroying others than building our Community. Madam Mayor the people of Randfontein supports you, those who spit venom against your background to later get salutation in taverns wont succeed. Remember the Kenyan idiom:
“Until the lions have their historian, the tale of the hunt will always glorify the hunter”

I would like to say it was a good election because I have always wished to have female mayor because I see a good leadership the but I’m worried about the challenges that u might come across to but I all ways say fear no challenge because they build a leadership and since u promised to come back to toekomsrus after the hiv and aids campaign and I’m still waiting for youth indaba I don’t know if I used the correct word ha ha ha enjoy your position and good luck from a young person
